The CSS has not been shortened. Individual adjustments may be necessary. There are no limits to your personal responsibility. By using the standard classes, the icons from the respective style are displayed.

The following style customisations are currently included in the package: prosilver (standard-default), parent styles and childs:

The "Viewlegend - ICON LEGEND" is in fact extensive. When describing the icons, Talk19Zehn endeavoured in 2014 to provide correct, brief information for each icon.
The standard event used displays the link to the "Viewlegend - Icon Legend" in the footer and informs you, your visitors and your members about the purpose of the forum icons and the topic icons in extracts.

This extension displays forum, topic and post icons, including their meaning, in a full-page overview. The mini icons and post icons as well as the standard BBCodes can also be displayed in extracts.

Additional features:

The visibility of the viewlegend.html can be switched if Show Mini-Viewlegend activated: This ensures a pleasant, more flexible page view.

Setting options in the ACP:

Enable Viewlegend - Additional features:
Activate Admin-Mode:
If enabled, only administrators can see the Viewlegend.
Show Mini-Viewlegend:
If activated, the mini-icons used in the respective style are displayed in excerpts and the visibility of the viewlegend.html can be switched. This ensures a pleasant, more flexible page view.

Changes have been made due to the changes in the EPV (Framework). State May 26, 2025.
Requirements for this Extension-Version are now phpBB-System-Version 3.3.0 < 3.4.0_dev.
Requirements for PHP: 7.2.0 < 8.5.0.

The readme.md explains the development phases of the extension.

Due to a discussion in the German support Talk19Zehn has revised the Viewlegend Icon Legend and adapted it to the requirements named there, such as migration v_2_4_0.php, the JS and few things more.

For these reasons, a clean update is necessary. The most important thing: phpBB 3.3.x Extension - Viewlegend Icon-Legend new Version 2.4.0.

This Extension (Version 2.4.0) - Few corrections executed. Requirements for this Extension-Version 2.4.0 (phpBB-System-Version 3.3.0 < 3.4.0_dev). Requirements for PHP: 7.2.0 < 8.5.0.
Due to few changes, previous versions of this extension must be completely deleted! This means that data must be cleanly removed from the database.
ACP / CUSTOMISE / Manage extentions / Extensions Manager:

- Completely removing an extension from your board

Disable the extension

Delete the extension’s data

Delete the extension's files from the file system (FTP)

Clean and purge all caches

- Installing an extension

Upload the contents of the -> newly unpacked folder (ongray/viewlegend) to phpBB/ext/ongray/viewlegend - please note the path

In the ACP, go to Customize -> EXTENSION MANAGEMENT and then

select Manage Extensions and enable, activate the "Viewlegend" extension

Clear and purge all caches again

The download has been updated today, please take a look in the Download-Area for your update.

Auf Grund einer Diskussion im deutschsprachigen Support hat Talk19zehn die Viewlegend Icon-Legende überarbeitet und an dort benannte Anforderungen, wie die Migration auf v_2_4_0.php als auch das JS und wenige andere Notationen angepasst.
Aus diesen Gründen ist ein sauberes Update nötig. Das Wichtigste:

Somit müssen vorherige Versionen dieser Erweiterung vollständig gelöscht werden! Das heißt, Daten müssen sauber aus der Datenbank entfernt werden.
